A story based on one of the Presidents who strongly guarded his reputation. He is one of the most popular Presidents, even today. His is a story of leadership, self-sacrifice, and never giving up.

Presidential Statues – Washington through Grant
Here are some of the statues I have visited of Presidents Washington through Grant.

A story based on one of our Founding Fathers. This heroic patriot often lacked the self confidence that is often associated with him today. Sometimes the missing ingredient in our own success can be found in him, too.

“Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.” Job 4:14 KJV
Mary, who was given very little time to form her own defense, was found guilty of insanity. He seems to try to soften the story a little by telling Nebuchadnezzar to not get too worried about the story itself because the ending is the most important part of the story. Some internal force took over my body and it reacted quicker than I could reason.

“And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.” Luke 15:9 KJV
One aide said it was the only time in his life that he ever saw the President-elect mad. The story doesn’t really go into details of what her frustrations involved, but you just don’t experience happiness in finding a lost item if that item is found right away. She read through the list and both of us knew, when she said the restaurants name, that I would now be able to get a good night’s sleep.

It is sad when a child dies before its parents. The Presidents have not been exempt from this fate. See different lists of Presidents and their children and who outlived who.

Some of the Presidents have had a life long partner. Some Presidents have been married more than once. Some of the First Ladies were married before they met their future Presidential husbands and some of them even married after their relationships with their Presidential husbands ended.

“Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.” Isaiah 59:6 KJV
As she came down the staircase, everyone one was in stunned silence by the beautiful girl in the white gown. Where does that leave God? So, I guess when you look at it that way, my “super” friend really did deserve that nickname.

“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” Proverbs 17:17 KJV
When his best friend arrived, the former President was shocked by the wasted figure that stood before him. When one hears Scriven’s poem, one has to be reminded of the source of its words. It’s about a man who was a friend. I had lots of friends when I was younger.

“Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.” Acts 7:53 KJV
The senator was completely puzzled by his words and he asked him to explain. I guess it was his way of saying, “Hey guys, I get it. I know where this faith has come from. I know the meaning of our religion.” To me, it is more the way he lives and the insight into things that inspires me.
